We don’t need to say much about a reflection of a setting sun and the sky. Sometimes it just speaks for itself. On this particular day the colors and the lighting was just right, and the settings on my camera pulled the colors out to their fullest. However there is more to a sunset and reflection than just beauty.

 

Water is natures mirror, and a reflection is a reminder to look at life from more than one angle. If you think about it, the best view of a large reflection is from the opposite side of the area being reflected. In this case I was across the lake and the setting sun was on the opposite side. From this view I was seeing two sunsets, one that appeared right side up, and the other one looking upside down. Two views of something at exactly the same time without moving, yet quite different as one is upside down. I think that sometimes we need to reflect on life the same way. A little upside down.
